The Bendigo Tramways Heritage Rail Workshop is located at the Bendigo Tram Depot, which is the oldest operating Tram Depot in Australia.

The specialised skills required to carry out this type of work are hard to come by. However, thanks to strong support from both the Victorian and Federal governments, the Workshop is developing a comprehensive and sustainable training and apprenticeship program to ensure that these scarce skills are passed on, while at the same time guaranteeing the future viability of the business.            

We have global reach, working with organisations around the world in Australasia, Europe and America. Bendigo Tramways have supplied parts small and large to operators and museums across New Zealand, Canada, the United States, and even Denmark.
