Catching the train to Bendigo?

With reduced fares and increased services, it's easy to get to Bendigo by train - the express service is just under 90 minutes from Melbourne!

From Melbourne there are 20 services per day midweek, 15 on Saturdays and 12 on Sundays. You'll pass through Gisborne, Macedon, Woodend, Kyneton, Malmsbury and Castlemaine, so you might just need to plan a longer trip! With connecting services from Mildura, Echuca, Swan Hill, Maryborough and Daylesford, Bendigo really is the centre of Victoria. The V/Line Daylink service between Adelaide and Melbourne also stops in Bendigo daily.

Your V/Line ticket also provides free travel on the Bendigo bus network for the same day that you caught the train. Please note it does NOT provide free travel on Vintage ‘Talking’ Trams.
