What is Bendigo Heritage Attractions all about?
Bendigo Heritage Attractions manages, preserves, restores and shares the stories of some of Bendigo's best and most significant heritage sites, including:
- Bendigo Tramways: Operating since 1890. Bendigo Tramways is now Australasia's largest tourist tramway, is home to the oldest operating tram depot in Australia and operates the best working collection of heritage trams in the world. Bendigo Tramways was named Australia's Cultural Tourism Attraction of the Year for 2016.
- Central Deborah Gold Mine: Operating commercially from 1939-1954, Central Deborah Gold Mine produced 929kg of gold and was the last mine of the goldrush era to cease operations on the wealthy Bendigo Goldfields. Descending to the depths of Bendigo, you are sure to catch gold fever on a fascinating underground tour.
- Bendigo Joss House Temple: This heritage-listed Chinese place of worship was constructed in the 1870s and is the oldest Chinese place of worship on its original site in Australia. It is red to symbolise happiness, strength and vitality, is still a practising temple, and gives great insight into Chinese culture.
TRAM TRAVEL PASS

For those locals who want to use the trams as a transport option throughout the year, we have a specially designed Tram Travel Pass just for you! Benefits include:
- Annual Travel access pass/es which provides unlimited access to ride on any tram in operation (excluding private charters) for duration of one full year.
- 15% off at the Bendigo Tramway Gift Shop, including coffee.

- 50% discount off admission for two accompanying guests (four visits per year).

Community care organisational memberships ($250):
- These memberships are for carer organisations that are caring for mentally and physically disabled people and/or aged care groups. They will ideally be not for profit organisations.
- Up to four free group visits for no more than 10 clients (plus carers) on the Vintage Talking Trams (must be booked in advance).
- Up to four group visits for no more than 10 clients (plus carers) on a Mine Experience Tour at 50% discount on the group concession rate (must be booked in advance).
- Quarterly electronic newsletter
- A supporter logo to include on your company website to celebrate your support of Bendigo's heritage and recognition on our website and in the Annual Report.
