Former Sydney "P" class #1501 arrived in Bendigo on Thursday 28th February to be restored on behalf of the Sydney Tramway Museum.  Mal Rowe and Kevin Taig were on hand to record the event.

Builder:

Meadowbank Manufacturing Company, Sydney, New South Wales (1920s) for the New South Wales Government Tramways.

Technical Information:

Trucks - Sydney No. 9.  Motors - 4 X 40 hp GE247A.  Braking - hand brake and air brake.  Weight - 15.9 tonnes.  Length - 45 feet 5 inches.
