Winter Tramways Collection

These school holidays be enchanted as you journey through the past 150 years of history aboard a majestic Vintage ‘Talking’ Tram. At Australia’s oldest working tram depot, see the Winter Tramways Collection comprising rare photos, past ticket books and historical uniforms. You will also encounter a fascinating range of historic trams dating from the early 1890’s and it is here that you will be able to appreciate how the trams once operated as public transport within Bendigo.

The hop-on hop-off tour stops throughout the city, giving you the opportunity to explore many of Bendigo’s living treasures. Departing from Central Deborah Gold Mine, each tour connects you to Alexandra Fountain (CBD), Bendigo Tramways Depot, Bendigo Joss House and Lake Weeroona.
